Drove home from Melbourne today (approx. 800 km) with the aid of caffeine and sugar. Minor stop due to running out of petrol, but this was easily enough fixed.

Police are out in force these holidays. Rey and I both got breath-tested, and saw any number of speed traps along the way - good to see. After extreme provocation, we ended up phoning in the guy who was illegally overtaking coming up the crest of a hill while well over the speed limit - I'm sorry I didn't get to see it, but I'm pretty sure they stopped him. Sometimes, sometimes, I'm happy to turn people in to the cops.

Had to leave Melbourne this morning. Dammit. Every time I go, I find myself wondering where the time went, and every time it's a little harder to leave. *sniffle* You know who you are.
