I have a fondness for Tarot cards. I don't believe they have supernatural powers, I just think it's an interesting art form, especially for seeing how different artists interpret the same series of concepts.

So, have this rather nifty modern version of the Major Arcana.

(Edit: and then I went a-browsing the guy's other works, and now I have a new desktop background. Also, the warm fuzzies that come from looking at this one and picking the inspiration.)

The card names are the variation used in Crowley's Thoth tarot deck - Adjustment, Lust, Art, Aeon substituting for Justice, Strength/Force, Temperance and Judgement in the Ryder-Waite and similar decks.

Now I'm trying to imagine how this artist would interpret the minor arcana and whether I could actually read this deck with a straight face.

(No, I'm not going to argue that Tarot cards have Super Special Mystic Powers; I read them to nudge my subconscious into churning up aspects of tangled situations I haven't considered yet. YMMV.)
