The new David Attenborough series was interesting watching last night, right up to the Komodo Dragon segment, at which point it remained interesting but with a large helping of AAAH DO NOT WANT.

It's not even the bit where they hunt water buffalo in packs, it's the bit where they stalk the thing for THREE WEEKS after biting it, waiting for infection to weaken it.

I remember that segment. D:

I think there is also a "making of" kind of episode at the end of the series, where members of the camera crew talk about having to watch that for three weeks.

Now you mention it, I did wonder how the camera crew felt about spending three weeks wandering through the territory of a predator that's mean enough and hungry enough to take down a buffalo.
