Jun. 23rd, 2007 10:07 amIf recent coverage is to be believed, the reason Australian sailors managed to avoid being captured by Iranians where the British did not is the Aussies' superior use of 'colourful language'.
(Coverage does eventually admit that the difference between the two incidents also involved the Australians managing to set up a good defensive position, but it clearly prefers the swearing angle.)
