Via mathsex, Tupper's Self-Referential Formula. It's not a deep result - all it really comes down to is that an algorithm for encoding small images can be used to encode an image of itself - but it's cute, and an illustration in how good a complex-looking formula can be at obfuscating a very simple rule.

That is damn awesome. The only thing I can imagine topping that is a formula that graphs itself without any external reference (such as a value for n in Tupper's formula).
