Met Turnberry yesterday. Lots of fun. He showed us around Chicago and told us many amusing stories. We went on a river tour, during which I mostly ignored the guide and just enjoyed the rocking of the boat (I was feeling a little touristed-out by then.) Turnberry and I bought a small 'present' for Silverblue. Visited bookshop, and there was much droolage. Had dinner with Turnberry & a.dbs friends Amber & Remus.

Then said goodbye to Jeff, went off to inflict 'Crocodile Hunter' movie on Amber & Remus. No huge surprises - the movie is just like the TV show with a thin veneer of plot, cheesy fun and less embarrassing than Crocodile Dundee. (OK, Steve Irwin is a lunatic, but an idealistic lunatic who puts his money where his mouth is. And he has fun doing it. There are worse things.) Good company made it fun. Said 'bye to Remus, now off to meet Amber again :-)
