RIP, Hugh Thompson

Hugh Thompson - one of the very few people I am willing to count among my personal heroes - has died, at age 62. It saddens me to think that a lot of people will have no idea who he was. War is full of physical courage, and Thompson had his share of that. But what he also had, something much more precious, was moral courage.

I wish this world had more Hugh Thompsons in it.
