reynardo asked me to put music in the CD player for house-tidying and dinner. After she grumbled about my first selection (too much Soft Cell or something) I ended up with the Inkspots (Greatest Hits), Bryan Ferry (The Bride Stripped Bare), Ministry (With Sympathy), Einstürzende Neubauten (Silence Is Sexy), and Dire Straits (On Every Street). In hindsight, any one of those would've been fine, but as a mix there's possibly such a thing as being too eclectic.
But dinner was fun, even though I snuck away to play Civ while Rey inflicted 'Dragonpearl' on the last of our hapless guests...
