...but this was bound to happen some day:

An Austrian-Australian dual national was slightly injured in a bus crash in Austria which killed five people and injured 34... The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) initially believed reports an Australian had been travelling on the bus were incorrect.

In other news, George Bush has opined that there is no point taxing the rich because they just dodge their tax anyway. Words fail me.

Well, George & his Republican-funding friends would know all about that, wouldn't they. Shame they won't pass on any tips to the rest of us... Incidentally, did you see in today's Herald that John Howard's son is working to re-elect George W? I thought John H was anti-Republic... obviously not anti-Republican...

I saw a really nice t-shirt last Saturday: big circle-with-slash over a picture of a kangaroo, and the text "There are no kangaroos in Austria" (probably not entirely true, given zoos etc., but still).
