Random acts of niceness

Some time back, reynardo was working in the garden and took some surplus flowers over to our neighbour across the road. Since then, once in a while we've found fresh lettuce etc from her garden on our doorstep. But two weeks back, it was a full bottle of Chivas Regal. o.O (Maybe she's a teetotaller and somebody gave it to her for Christmas or something, I don't care. Still a lovely gesture.)

And although my boss can be a stubborn, irritating bastard from time to time... next Thursday's a public holiday, and he's just given all of us the Friday off to make it a four-day weekend. There are far, far worse places to work :-)

Weirder than usual pseudo-science

From the rather misleadingly-titled Understanding Keylontic Science:
