The mystery of the lost special

Last two days, the train I usually catch from Holmesglen hasn't shown. No cancellation/late announcements, and when I rang Metro they had no record of it being late or cancelled. Anybody else encountering stealth cancellations?

Not on holiday timetable is it? Some trains go missing for a few weeks til the kiddies go back to school.

Not AFAICT from the site - the journey planner seems to think it should've been running.
