I have Stuff.
Sep. 21st, 2002 12:42 pmThe box of Stuff that we mailed home from New Orleans two months ago has finally arrived, just as I was started to worry. Including:
A wooden puzzle box.
Fossils - an orthoceras (black-and-silver leaf-shaped segmented thing) and a mako tooth. Still sharp.
A special thing for Silverblue from Turnberry and myself.
Our copy of 'Munchkin' & 'Unnatural Axe'.
DVDs...
'Dunwich Horror', despite being full of '70s cheese (Wilbur Whateley with sideburns and a bad haircut) is reasonably faithful to the original. Except for addition of Gratuitous Co-Ed Who Takes Her Clothes Off. Apparently there was a nude scene, but I must've blinked or something.
'Memento' special edition. This was tres cool even before we got it to the player. Caballists, you must come visit us so we can share the goodness.

Oh dear.
I just sank my case with a nuclear depth charge, didn't I? :-)
The Cabal
*THERE* *IS* *NO* *CABAL*
Assuming it's like Fight Club, you're just not supposed to talk about it.

I have to say, it wasn't nearly as bad as 'Cthulhu Mansion'. And it really stuck closer to the original story than, say, 'Hannibal'. But it was still a stinker :-)
