djfiggy: Nina von Stauffenberg died the other day, 62 years after her husband Claus von Stauffenberg was executed for attempting to assassinate Adolf Hitler. When I was a child, WWII always seemed like ancient history; it's odd to think that there are people still alive today who were part of that time.
