...It's for you. And me.

In unrelated news, if I had a sigfile, this would now be in it:

Jurors said the defense attorney's donning of the Tigger costume had no effect on their decision.

Edit: And so would this:

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we," Bush said. "They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."

Brilliant! I was just thinking of "Lost Boys" earlier today.

Good to see your "current music" selection is the best song on the soundtrack :)

I've tried to watch Lost Boys. I've really tried. I always end up wandering off shortly after the bit with the rice.

Where am I going wrong?

But... but... the bit with the carousel, right at the start, isn't that enough to carry an entire movie on its own? ;-)

It's one of those movies I have a soft spot for. I saw it three times in a week when I was thirteen. Trapped in a ski lodge, no snow inside, and hyperactive cousins playing the same videos over and over. (I also saw 'Robocop' three times, but it didn't make as much impression on me.)

I'm really not sure why I like it so much, but I do. It has some great lines, and sneaky Peter Pan references all over the place, and Kiefer Sutherland with white hair on a carousel... and 'Cry Little Sister'. I think it's the movie that planted the seeds of my inner gothdom.

It's a great movie for those of us who like to see footage of real amusement parks in films. >:) Actually, I like it even besides that. It contains several classic lines. Besides the famous concluding line, my favorite is "You're a creature of the night, Michael." It's all in the delivery.

I don't even remember the carousel. In fact all I remember is the bit in the comic shop and the bit with the rice. Despite the face I've seen the beginning at least three times. One day I'll see it all. This may involve ropes and coffee.

I watched that years ago ... probably one of those times I was very ill and/or had surgery and couldn't go anywhere. I don't remember much about it, but considering how oft it was mentioned in Australia, i'd say its time to see it again.

Ooooh! Does this mean we'll have to replace our "Lost Boys" VCR tape with a shiny new DVD? What a tragedy!
