Things that piss me off
Feb. 17th, 2002 10:38 pmPeople who won't take responsibility for their actions.
#1: I talk to AOL customer service rep about the fact that one of their people is spamming me with viruses, and that I've reported this repeatedly already with no response.
His reply, in summary, was "well that's your problem not ours, and if we were going to do something about it we'd have done it when you first reported it, and we didn't, so we're not going to, so you can f*ck off and die."
Afterwards managed to get onto somebody in tech support who sounded like he might have at least a fraction of a clue, so I'm waiting to see what comes of it. If refusing to enforce their TOS is indeed SOP, I'll be killfiling all messages from AOL (excepting specific friends on AOL.)
#2: John Howard, Peter Reith, Phil Ruddock. 'Nuff said.
#3: The management of P***** Boarding Kennels, who are attempting to tell us that the half-dozen bites and abscesses on our dog when we picked him up after a weekend in their facilities are nothing to do with them. Poor little beastie, he's still far from well two weeks later.
*grump*

Date: 2002-02-17 02:57 pm (UTC)Oh, while on the subject of people who are unwilling to accept responsibility for their own (in)actions, I forgot to mention our Governor-General, Peter Hollingworth.
There, that's my Little List done for now. Hmm... maybe I *should* do it as a song.
