Housing stuff

lederhosenWell, have put down one week's rent as deposit on New Rental Place; looking at one other place tomorrow a.m., but unless that one is stunning we will be picking up the keys to this one on Saturday.
NRP is in Little Bay, about five minutes further away from everything except Little Bay. On the good side, it has one more bedroom and is in slightly better nick than Current Place, for the same rent, and it's dog-friendly.
So, can set aside House-Hunting Stress in favour of Moving Stuff Stress. On the bright side, we have the coming long weekend and nearly two weeks after that to get it done before Goth Road Trip, and it really is only 5 minutes down the road.
My leave starts on the... 12th? I think, so that will also help.
