From the ABC science site:
Orbiting a star that is visible to the naked eye, astronomers have discovered a planet twice the size of our own made largely out of diamond.
I would be very concerned if those astronomers WEREN'T orbiting a star that's visible to the naked eye.
Discovered by a US-Franco research team, its radius is twice that of Earth's but it is much more dense with a mass eight times greater.
...actually, that would make it EXACTLY THE SAME DENSITY.
And if that beautifully clear "photo" is indeed a photo of 55 Cancri e, I will eat my hat.
Still a nifty discovery, I just wish they'd get the science and the grammar right.
