Making the peon cry
Nov. 28th, 2010 09:55 pmMoving... almost done. Rey is overseeing the last of the Old Place stuff tomorrow. After that, she gets to sleep in!
Unpacking... started. I did 20 boxes of books today, which has cleared up a lot of room in the study, which gives us some swap-space once we get on to the lounge. There will be some culling of books in the Near Future, because our shelves are almost full and I know there are several more book-boxes somewhere in the garage. Still trying to figure out where everything will go.
Settling in... getting there. The spa came in handy on our first night here when we were hot/tired/grubby from moving stuff, and then again tonight when we were cold and sore. Dog-Or is getting used to going up and down stairs without losing control, although we've agreed that throwing the BALL down the stairs would be a Bad Thing.
We have an Italian restaurant just down the road. This is a good thing when all the kitchen stuff is still in boxes.
Have cancelled my WoW subscription; I enjoy playing, but I am not good at this 'playing in moderation' business; I have other things I want to get on with, and getting stuck into a new expansion seems like a Bad Thing.
