Gragh, and miscellany

Dragged myself into work yesterday, trading off guilt about exposing co-worker to my germs against guilt about the Big Important Deadline For The Whole Team that's rapidly approaching. When I got there I discovered that I didn't actually have a co-worker to expose - while I'd been emailing her work account from home to let her know I was sick, she'd been emailing mine with the same message. (There are seven people in our work unit, only four of them are in the Vic office, and half are part-timers, so there are only two of us who are in every day, plague allowing). Hoping this gets better soon, because I'm getting pretty fed up with this throat.

Rey and I went to see Avenue Q last night, and that was fun. I think my favourite is Trekkie Monster, who was very expressively puppeted.

Anne Frank's 80th birthday yesterday. It's odd thinking of her as a little old Jewish grandma.

And, yeah, very unimpressed with the latest DOMA developments. I never expected Obama to be perfect - I saw him as a generally progressive politician who can make good speeches - but this is still a major disappointment.
