notasquirrel sent us our very own copy of El Vampiro Teporocho. I have to say that if Buzzy had made a vampire movie himself, this is exactly what it would be like.
First off: the movie is all in Spanish, with no English-language option. I do not speak Spanish, beyond a few words (I recognised 'sangre', 'puta', 'ristorante', and 'Dracula', that's about it), which made it a bit difficult to follow some of it. This is probably just as well.
What little I understood of the plot comes mostly from running the back-cover blurb through Babelfish. Having seen the movie, I suspect it might actually have been written by running the plot through Babelfish for as long as it took to stop making sense.
(Babelfish didn't recognise the word, but Google tells me that 'teporocho' is something like 'alcoholic'. I'm not very surprised.)
