Enough "Star Trek" Books To Get Anyone Laid

Up for auction: twenty pounds of "Star Trek" books. They're old. They're out of print. And unbeknownst to many, they possess special powers.

ION, also thanks to sclerotic_rings, the discovery that blue-ringed octopuses are neater than I thought. They don't make their venom themselves, they have bacteria in their salivary glands to do it for them.

I should know better.

Every so often, I'll get into a discussion about the weirdness of the net, and somebody will bring up the fact that for every conceivable person, real or fictional, there exists a piece of fanfic about that person. And, nine times out of ten, some of that fanfic will be slash. [Some of the persons responsible for this phenomenon are on my Friends list. You know who you are.]

And then somebody will think of a name at random.

And then, idiot that I am, I'll go and Google on the existence of said slash, and discover that yes, there is, and then spend the rest of the day trying to purify my brain.

So, I guess I ought to 'thank' djfiggy for prompting me to discover that, yes, there really is Axl/Slash slash. And having discovered this, I thought I should share this knowledge with you all. Because pain shared is pain halved.

P.S. Yes, I am well aware that there is Anne Frank fanfic out there.

P.P.S. No, I do not know whether there is Anne Frank slashfic (beyond that written by AF herself, which doesn't count). I do not *want* to know if it exists. Are we clear on this?
