Misc: spam and Cthulhoid sky-writing
Mar. 22nd, 2004 08:51 amIn my mailbox today, an offer for a "Rocket PEN1S". I wonder if some sort of lanyard is included for easy retrieval.
On Saturday it was a beautifully clear day, and a sky-writer was at work, writing just one word above the city:
MYTHOS.
Oh, and Dog-Or now has a squeaky mouse toy. I'm going to see if I can confuse him about which species he is.
Grizzling child again this morning. Joy.
Painted stuff yesterday. Four trees and one iron golem. Amused at how it takes three layers of paint, one of ink, and some touching-up to make a metal figure look like metal. But pleased with how the blacklining worked; blacklining isn't something I've done much of before, and I may have to try using it more. Mr. Golem was pretty much the ideal candidate for blacklining, and the sculptors did a nice job of grooving him for the ink to flow.
Goth fish!
And the Malaysian election result is promising.
