Hindsight is 20/10

When buying equipment for the aforementioned dire wolverine, which the aforementioned Armoured Wolverine figure is to represent, I thought "Why don't I use spiked armour, to make it really difficult for enemies to get a hold of him?"

So I added half a dozen large spikes to the figure's armour (ended up snipping the ends of toothpicks, poking holes in the putty while still soft, then gluing them in for a very secure fit).

Only, now I want to hold him up so I can paint him...

Here come the elephants!
