Qantas trifecta
Nov. 23rd, 2011 08:08 amThe bad: tired of seeing abuse directed at Alan Joyce for being Irish. Seriously, why indulge in racism when there are so many legitimate things to criticise?
The good: considering the above, kinda pleasantly surprised that I haven't yet seen ANYBODY attacking him for his sexuality. I guess that's progress of a sort.
The hilarious: the #QantasLuxury debacle. It turns out that immediately after stranding thousands of passengers for days without notice as a bargaining tactic (and crying poor on staff wages while giving your CEO a 70% raise) is actually NOT a good time to run a Twitter competition inviting people to talk about your brand. I think the ratio of genuine entries to sarcastic ones is less than 1%.
