D&D update
Aug. 17th, 2010 10:14 pmToday our party met three nice clerics who were going the same way we were.
APPARENTLY NICE CLERIC, describing religious strife in a nearby township: "You know how it is, the smaller the differences between two religions the more they fight."
HYADIS: "That's why I get along so well with everybody!"
They offered us brandy and beef jerky, and then one of them stood watch with Hyadis.
...afterwards, Kauri lectured them extensively on why, if you are going to do the whole Thuggee thing, you probably shouldn't pick on crazed servants of the Elder Gods. Good thing he'd taught Hyadis not to accept drinks from strangers, and that their cosh skills are distinctly inferior.
Unfortunately, his advice was wasted, as all three of them mysteriously bled to death during the third watch, while Drustos the halfling was guarding them. Poor Kauri was a bit unhappy about this, but it was probably for the best.
