*fretting*

Dog-Or is going to the vet this morning; AFAICT he hasn't eaten since Saturday morning and yesterday he was throwing up and very low on energy. He seems marginally better this morning, but still hasn't touched his food. I'm taking the morning off to go in with him, because I'm a big sook.

Rey and I watched 'The Super Comet' last night, and it was really feeble. Tip: If attempting to depict a disaster where 90% of the human race is wiped out and the entire planet is shrouded in dust for months on end, the survivors probably shouldn't be clean-shaven folk with trendy haircuts and whiter-than-white shirts. I don't care if they ARE French.

Also, post-apocalypse is not the time to coddle your kid and shelter her from harsh realities, because she's going to have to work damn hard to stay alive. Although possibly not if her run of bizarrely good luck continues.

Vet says: could be pancreatitis, could be some other GI bug. He's staying there overnight while they wait for blood test results. At least they've dealt with my immediate concern - he'd barely drunk any water in the last two days, and she says he's looking a lot happier after IV fluids. So, fretting somewhat less, but it still feels wrong to come home and not see his nose at the window.

I guess that answers the question of where my bonus is going...

Gravikords, Whirlies, and Pyrophones.

I suspect this is a later edition than the one I have, since the content seems to be slightly different.
