elynne, a stirring tale of employees enthusiastically helping to name a project mascot. "Explained via email that ORLY can be an acronym for "Organizing our Responsibility to Learn Year-round". Boss is delighted. Forwards to naming commitee."

enegim, another obviously made-up story from the Weekly World News.
Besides KoL, have been playing Battle for Middle-Earth 2 this week. It's pretty similar to #1 but with more stuff (and faster loading, hurrah!) and a different focus. The campaign mode looks at the war in the north - what was going on up in Dol Guldur and the Grey Havens while the Fellowship was making their way to Mordor? It takes just as many liberties with the storyline as #1 did, but it's fun nevertheless.
( Snippy. )
Oh, and both Arwen and Glorfindel are playable heroes. Since they're both mounted units available to the Elves, I end up using them together a lot at the head of my cavalry. This must lead to some interesting discussions... especially since Arwen gets the 'horsey flood' power, and Glorfindel doesn't.
