Rodents and spoons

After recent allegations that Liberal Senator George Brandis called John Howard "a lying rodent" over his testimony in the 'children overboard' affair, Brandis has responded: he never said Howard was a lying rodent. And while he has used the r-word (indeed, frequently), it was always 'the rodent', not 'a rodent'. So that's all right then.
