(no subject)

Had another flying dream last night. Been a while since I had one of those, but they never lose their appeal. It doesn't involve flapping my arms, or anything like that; in my dreams, flying is as instinctive as wiggling a finger, something I just do. Oddly enough, a little harder to do in front of witnesses - I suspect this is my subconscious' cynicism at work - but if I'm already off the ground when they show up, I can usually stay there.

I'm not sure what flying dreams are supposed to mean, but they're my all-time favourite sort of dream :-)

And re-watched 'Pleasantville' yesterday. Beautiful, beautiful movie. One of the things I love about it is that, even as it makes the point that life should not be black-and-white, it treats the black-and-white characters with compassion too.
