Sex Advice from a D&D Player

Yet again via [livejournal.com profile] james_nicoll, sex advice from a D&D player:

Q: My lover and I enjoy role-play, but I’ve gotten tired of the same cliché scenarios like student/teacher and boss/secretary. Any recommendations for new roles that might help spice it up?

A: I don’t know what system you’re playing, but “student/teacher” and “boss/secretary” do not sound like choices that would inspire one to role-playing greatness. Consider a classic like “cleric of the watcher from the depths/virgin” or “half-orc paladin/gelatinous cube.” And remember, silken rope may be more expensive, but it’s nearly half the weight in encumbrance.

In unrelated news, Dog-Or sometimes sings in his sleep. This is funnier than I can describe.

I can imagine. Emma barks in her sleep but rarely when she's awake.

Dog-Or should go for a PhD. If Michael Wizard could get eight of them... Dog-Or could probably manage it.

One of the funniest things I've ever read is that analysis of how each Lovecraft creature would be as a lover, and which would be the best. I think the Shoggoth won.

This one? Oddly enough, I know the guy who keeps that FAQ...

I like the idea of Twisted Chivalry myself.

One of my cats snores.

At least one of my cats snores. DamnCat (see icon) hides under the bed and konks out. It's a little weird to suddenly hear her sawing logs (or twigs at least) in an otherwise quiet house...

Lexi lies on his back, that's what brongs it on.
