ABS census consultation process & sex/gender standards
I know some of y'all had issues with various parts of last year's Australian Census. So, PSA: consultation process for the 2016 Census has begun. If you have any suggestions for things that could be done better, this is the place for them.
Submissions are open to 31 May next year, but a little bird tells me that the earlier you get them in, the better.
One related item that might be of particular interest to some of my friends: ABS is reviewing the Sex Standard, and considering establishing a separate standard for gender. Deadline for this consultation is 28 February next year, but again, earlier = better.
