The Only Possible Answer

Rey and I came up with a game at her work Christmas party: take a handful of Christmas-cracker riddles (the lamer the better), and turn them into a scene for the '60s Batman. (And if you haven't seen that, this won't make any sense.)

Some riddles to get you started:

Q: What did the winner of the race lose?
A: His breath.

Q: Why does an elephant wear sneakers?
A: So he can sneak up on the mice.

Q: What comes up when the rain comes down?
A: An umbrella.

Q: What do monkeys sing at Christmas?
A: Jungle Bells, Jungle Bells...!

Q: Do you know how to make a bandstand?
A: Take away their chairs.

My attempt (with some aid from Rey):

BATMAN (reading): What comes up when the rain comes down?
ROBIN: An umbrella!
BATMAN: An umbrella... an umbrella...
ROBIN: The Penguin!
BATMAN: What did the winner of the race lose?
ROBIN: His breath!
BATMAN: Race... breath...
ROBIN: Air... Aryan... Iran!
BATMAN: Of course! It was in the papers! The Iranian ambassador to the United Nations arrived today!
ROBIN: What's the last clue?
BATMAN: Do you know how to make a bandstand?
ROBIN: Take away their chairs!
BATMAN: Chairs... seats...
ROBIN: The Penguin is going to the United Nations, disguised as the Iranian ambassador, to take a seat on the UN Security Council!
BATMAN: Of course! The only... possible... answer!
