Abortion is a complex and controversial issue, and the debate is fraught with difficult ethical questions.

That said, I think most of us can agree that when arguing either side of that debate you probably shouldn't rely on an Onion article as the primary support for your argument. (Original Onion article here.)

Humor is not integral to some people's lives. Sarcasm is unacceptable. Therefore, satire does not exist. It then follows that The Onion must be a serious publication. If it were satire, it would not exist. Any logical fallacies in this statement are clearly a result of indoctrination by liberal hippie (or commie, whatever) Volvo driving, latte drinking educators who have clearly brainwashed me.
