I agree with the less-than quality of the speeches last night... The Goons 'speech' was the most blatant cop-out I've heard in my time there.

"You know you're getting old when... you think christmas cracker jokes are actually funny & the Goon Show was the epitome of humour."

My speeches may have all been based around music (and will continue to be so, no matter what the topic), but at least I write 'em...
