A fairly typical (but with more range than usual) touring bike with 52/43/34 chainrings, a 622/38 tire, and a 7speed 11-34 Megarange cassette/freewheel will do anywhere from 2.2 to 10.3 meters per pedal revolution, depending on gear selected.

A typical 'road' racing bike with 622/25 tires, a 52/42 road double, and a 10 speed 13-26 cassette, fairly typical of stock high end race bikes, varies from 3.4 to 8.4 meters development.

Depending on how smart the excercise machine's computer is, it might actually take into account which gear you'd typically be in if you've got n amount of resistance.


If you want vampires, try Buffy the series, or Angel. Although those might work better when they're re-viewings, since they do tend to have at least a modicum of plot.
