Well, that was one of the most one-sided D&D games I've played in a long time.

First encounter: an evil half-dragon trying to shake us down for passage. Our bard responded with "Get bent!", my orc Alessandro won initiative and one-shotted him with a massive critical.

Second encounter: Daddy Dragon, who by all rights should've been a seriously difficult fight. Except that Alessandro had brought along a heavy bow with a few dragon-bane arrows, and rolled another obscene critical. It wasn't quite the one-shot of the first fight, but it was still embarrassingly quick. A couple of our pets were hurt (nothing fatal) but I don't think any of the PCs even took damage. Not even the halfling who started the fight by attempting to steal a sleeping dragon's treasure (because that always ends well).

We killed a dragon at the last pathfinder game. Given that it was a wussy dragon, clinging to the ceiling being invisible and pretending to be a ghost, I honestly have no idea why we picked a fight with it.

Reminds me of a D&D game where we finally get to meet up with the big bad for the final showdown. He's on the top of a hill with goons some bajilliondy yards away giving the ol' speech. The party is dithering about how to approach this fight (we'd been trounced in all previous encounters). And my character ---a psion (or was that a psychic warrior, can't remember) with a few screws loose, super powers of moving Far Too Quickly, and a very big sword--- gets bored and so decides to blitz on over there with a full move and wild swing, lands a crit leaving the big bad with literally 1 hp left. Next turn the big bad throws up all his defensive spells, and my character proceeds to wiff repeatedly for the next four turns before the rest of the party can show up to finally put the poor guy out of his misery.
