I melt now.
Dec. 19th, 2004 07:42 pmRey and I moved lots of small things from Old Place to New Place today, helped very much by
quatranoctal,
xmas_chan,
waitingman,
da_norvegicus, Tony, Ian, Marlene, and John. Dog-Or sat around looking pretty.
According to the news, it was 26C at 11 am, 36C at noon, and hit 38 by around 2:30. And near 100% humidity - a storm hit shortly after we finished up for the day.
New Place has air conditioning. Fancy, computerised air conditioning, and I think if I press the right button it will start speaking with Pierce Brosnan's voice and attempt to lure my wife away from me. If tomorrow isn't any better, it may very well succeed.
I want to take a long bath and then go straight to bed, but I've still got more to pack...
