The problem with lying...

...is that it becomes a habit. (via [livejournal.com profile] jesusandrew and [livejournal.com profile] silmaril.)

When the spin doctors have to lie about why the President fell off a bike, something's very badly wrong. What is the *point*? We're long past the point of lying for personal advantage, now; this is lying out of habit, the way people do when they've forgotten how to tell the truth.

ION, am at home sick today (as have been since Monday), chugging antibiotics for tonsillitis. Next up, hunting for temporary accommodation for us and our stuff.
